The Challenge: BLM Land required minimal surface disruption. Large area (30km2) to access. 600 sampling points required for resource averages. Require core samples for bulk densities. No water available. Minerals contained in the alluvial volcanic overburden and in the underlaying caliche

The Vibratory Sonic Drill Meta Probe Solution: Trailer mounted Sonic Meta-Drill and a 4x4 pick up truck. Sonic drill head used for undisturbed sample collection and volumetric bulk density determination. Rotary configuration utilized to spin solid stem augers for sample collection in the caliche.
