The Problem: Assess trace element content in entire depth of tailings.

The Challenge: Collect samples to 200 foot depth in quality caustic (pH 13), very fluid (35% solids), and gel-like material, from a floating platform with minimal exposure of the operator to material sampled.

The Sonic Drill Meta Probe Solution: High-frequency vibratory coring to promote smooth flow of material into sampler; light-weight equipment and single-use PVC sample tubes to reduce operator exposure to material; hold-back capability to prevent distension or compression of sample.
